CW Fellow Network
Identifying the brightest law students in the SAARC & ASEAN regions to serve as the "Intellectual Infantry" for the Rule of Law.
The Institutional Opportunity
Constitution Watchdog (CW) is formally inviting high-potential law students to serve as Regional Leads within the CW Fellows Network. This is not a standard internship; it is an appointment to a formal three-year term under the direct mentorship of our Global Council of Jurists.
We are moving beyond traditional mooting into “Upstream Monitoring”—tracking Supreme Court dockets and legislative bypasses to provide the academic ammunition necessary to protect democratic institutions.
The Core Pillars
Why this aligns with the aspirations of an Emerging Jurist
Legally Skilled
Gain rare, hands-on experience in drafting amicus curiae briefs and White Papers. You will learn to translate academic theory into actionable legal defense strategies.
Academically Committed
Our Council of Mentors provides rigorous oversight for technical research on "Judicial Capture" and "Autocratic Legalism," elevating your scholarship to international standards.
Internationally Minded
Work with the Constitutional Resilience Index (CRI), utilizing a comparative framework across Asian jurisdictions to gain a truly global perspective on governance.
Socially Responsible
This is a direct contribution to the "immune system" of our democratic institutions. Your research serves as the first line of defense against executive overreach.
The Technical Mandate
While student organizations foster cooperation, CW grounds that cooperation in hard data.
The Constitutional Resilience Index (CRI) is our proprietary mechanism. As a Fellow, you will be trained to analyze institutional fragility, monitoring how courts respond to political pressure in real-time.
